E-Yantra MEDO is a software for design of machine elements. It can be used effectively in 2 ways. 1. For designing of machine elements and assemblies 2. For training of engineers The important feature of E-Yantra MEDO is that an optimized design solution can be obtained quickly by inputting performance parameters. 2 Two dimensional sketch and a three dimensional model is also generated for some of the components where they are required. Input parameters like materials, performance requirements, factor of safety etc. can be varied conveniently to obtain different outputs. Designers can have multiple design solutions for comparisons. One can design a component for finite life too. This helps design teams to increase their efficiency significantly. SSEDS takes pride into providing customised solutions for designing based on customer requirements. E-Yantra MEDO consists of following design modules: Brake, Cam, Clutch, Connecting Rod, Coupling, Flywheel, Gear, Cotter-knuckle Joint, Lever, Power Screw, Shaft, Spring, Thin and Thick Cylinder, Pawl and ratchet, Welded joint and an exhaustive Material Databank.
