Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Ladders are designed, engineered and custom fabricated by “SSEDS” in accordance with OSHA Standards, section 1910.27, entitled “Fixed Ladders”. Rungs are of serrated FRP Round Tubes (Aluminum-optional) revitted and bonded to the side rail section to prevent pullout.
The Ladder shall be entirely non-metallic (Aluminum rung-optional), with the exception of splice, riveting & mounting fasteners required, Ladder can be equipped with 3’6” high walk – through.
“SSEDS” FRP LADDERS are fabricated from Fiberglass Pultrusion sections that have a Class l Fire Retardance with an ASTM E-84 Flame spread rating of 25 or less.
Standard and walk through fixed Ladder can be used upto 20 ft (6 Mtrs) without safety cages. OSHA requires safety cages on ladder heights exceeding 20 ft (6 Mtrs)
All Ladders are fabricated as per standard specifications and/or requirement.
